I’ve been really sick the last few days. I still am, but I am feeling a bit better at the moment because I am eating waffles and watching Doctor Who (last week’s Neil Gaiman episode at that).

I feel like we made a lot of good episodes of the kind of show that usually gets canceled,” says Fey. “The kind where there’s 20 episodes and ‘only me and my hipster friends know about it.’ That part’s still true. But we made 140 of them!
Tina Fey on the end of 30 Rock.
I was going to do a big series of tributes to the end of my favorite show for the past several years, but then I haven’t really been able to bring myself to accept that it’s really ending tonight (and my computer has become possessed by Moloch so all my internetting these days is done on the Kindle and it’s hard to do a lot on here). Besides rolling stone did a great job for me (that’s where the above quote came from but it’s too much work to link to on the Kindle). Thankfully NBC has been in the toilet the last decade so we didn’t have to mount multiple Save Our Show campaigns. Instead, we’ve gotten a great final season of the show, but I still am going to be sad when the credits roll tonight. Thank you Tina and company for seven hilarious years.
Shut it down!

To answer Kevin, this is Allison Williams. She plays Marnie on HBO’s Girls. Her father is Brian Williams.

tolkienheart: #Seriously this is everyone on tumblr trying to explain things to the outside world
Sadie’s storyline concerning LOST was one of my favorite parts about This is 40. Definitely among the most relateable. Except my relationship with that show wasn’t extremely personal. I shared it with countless others on various message boards (where I spent all my time in those pre-tumblr days).
