The October Surprise turned out to be Disney’s purchase of Lucasfilm and the revelation of Star Wars Episode VII. I want to hear the presidential candidates’ take on this and their ideas for future Star Wars sequels. And go!

I’ve always thought it was cool to share my birthday with two pillars of geekdom. Happy 70th (!) birthday to Harrison Ford and 72nd birthday to Sir Patrick Stewart.
