Attention everyone, attention! My local newspaper has a breaking news story on their website.

My local newspaper has a section called the “Rant and Rave.” It’s one of those sections where people can call in or write in and bitch about whatever they want to without signing their name to it like they would a letter to the editor. Apparently, many people around here don’t know how to do a basic Google search or use a phone book because they keep calling the “Rant and Rave” asking for information. The remarkable thing is, the paper publishes this crap.

Here’s a gem from today’s “Rant and Rave.”

Toenails

“I know this is not a proper forum for this problem, but maybe someone will respond with a solution. There are MANY older low-income people who cannot properly and safely cut their toenails anymore. Nor can they afford a pedicure at a salon. Is there someone who could make this need into a business or a ministry?”

So, who’s ready to start that toenail clipping ministry?
