There are so many good lines in Mark Waid’s review of Man of Steel. While I think (still not sure exactly how I feel about it) I liked the movie a little bit more than him, Mark Waid accurately sums up the biggest problem with this movie.

And I don’t think I blame Zack Snyder for that. I blame Christopher Nolan, the DC/WB execs, and The Dark Knight.

There’s probably one sixteen-year-old with really geeky, “early adopter” parents who read A Game of Thrones when it first came out. This girl has probably grown up hating this name until now. Now, she hates all these “posers” stealing her name. She had it before HBO made it “popular.”
